What You Would Be Doing:

The Claims Administrator’s primary responsibility is to guide our customers through the process of recovering damages due to the carrier’s damage of freight.

  • Review the information submitted by the customer that explains the circumstances of the incident
  • Accurately determine proper claim amount based on the circumstances of shipment
  • Educate the customer on the process and what to expect throughout the process
  • Consistently follow up with the carrier on the status of the claim
  • Negotiate with the carrier and/or third-party insurer for acceptable resolution for the customer
  • Prepare the documentation to process the carrier refund checks and the payment to the shipper
  • Educate the customer on process improvements to help reduce the occurrence of damage to their product or to assist in the better recovery of damages
  • Coordinate with Claims Support and Customer team members throughout the process to ensure a consistent and successful customer experience
