Sales Executive

Cerasis is a transportation supply chain consulting firm, providing customized freight, small parcel and logistics solutions for shippers in North America. These services yield both hard & soft cost savings through proprietary transportation technology (TMS) and managed transportation services.

Cerasis is seeking motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Executive to join our firm.  The Cerasis Transportation Consultant will prospect high volume freight shippers (LTL, Full Truckload) set appointments, demonstrate our technology platform and develop proposals and cost analysis, provided from customer data based on the customer’s needs.
 
Salesmanship, professionalism and the ability to win new business via an existing network, referrals and cold calling is essential in this position. The Sales Executive must have excellent time management, drive and be a competitive person in nature. 

Previous sales experience in the 3PL/LTL/TL Supply Chain industry with an emphasis on Technology solutions is required.  Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent skills and/or work experience.

  • Utilize a consultative sales approach while prospecting for leads to build a pipeline, including cold-calling, e-mailing, social networking, referrals and face-to-face sales.
  • Intimately understands how to engage with inbound leads turning them into appointments & sales opportunities
  • Use both traditional and electronic communication tools to make contact with prospective, current and former customers to identify new business opportunities
  • Create quotes and sales proposals for company services
  • Independently generate new sales revenue
  • Succeed at value service and price negotiation with prospects
  • Collaborate with your team on pricing decisions and timing
  • Translate business opportunities into incremental revenues through a PAIN / Solution / Consultative Type Sale
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain and update accurate information in the company’s operating  CRM system (salesforce.com)
  • Understand and support the goals, policies and procedures of our company
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information
