Implementation Manager

What You Would Be Doing:

The primary focus of the Implementation Manager will be to plan and manage a successful customer transition through the daily execution of department operations. This position serves as the single point of accountability for accounts identified as requiring attention based on the complexity of the scope of services (size, multi-product, special requirements). Job responsibilities:

  • Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
  • Coordinate with department managers to establish work plans and staffing for each phase of the project
  • Demonstrate interpersonal influence and leadership to schedule, manage, and evaluate projects through, and with, internal functional groups
  • Ensure company and industry project management methodologies and tools are being utilized consistently and effectively
  • Quickly identify critical path activities and impacts to timelines
  • Deal directly with customer and internal teams to resolve issues
  • Track and assess all change of scope items and ensure internal/external teams understand cost, quality and timing impact of these changes
  • Communication is required in many forms: email, phone calls, project management tools, etc.
  • Successfully implementing operational and systems solutions according to the scope of services

Who We Are Looking For:

As an Implementation Manager, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills along with good judgement and attention to detail. Other necessary skills include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or Business-related field
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Previous experience in Distribution, Warehousing or Supply Chain Management with an emphasis on Technology Solutions
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in project management role
  • Demonstrates ability to clearly articulate complex technical and business issues/topics
  • Prior use of traditional project management methodologies
  • Demonstrated interpersonal influence and leadership
